The wife has a 2012 Durango with the 5.7 and AWD. I noticed a spot of fluid on the driveway yesterday and put it up on ramps to take a look. The rear output shaft at the transfer case is dripping fluid and I it appears the seal is failing. Any experience changing this seal as a DIY? More importantly I am looking to see if the transfer case needs to come off the vehicle or if I can just pull the rear driveshaft and then change the seal. Any experiences, instructions ​​​, or nightmares are appreciated!
