Default Check Engine Light NOT Coming on During Startup

Just had a bunch of texts, emails and warnings from my 2019 Durango GT. It’s saying the Check Engine Light is failing to illuminate during the initial diagnostics before the car starts. (Not sure if I ever noticed it coming on before at all). The only thing I can think is that we’ve had a lot of rain the last few days and I went through some deeper puddles than expected. 😈.

Does anybody have any idea what could cause this light to NOT illuminate? I’m fearing that taking it in might have them pulling the dashboard. In my experience, a car is never the same once the dashboard has been pulled. My Charger wasn’t. They were never able to stop the rattling and the charging ports stopped working.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would start with the dash. Who did the work on pulling the dash? You may have a wire not connected or pull out of a connector.
