Default Wheel size

Stock wheels for my '17 Citadel are 265/50X20. I'm getting new aftermarket wheels and have a choice of 10X20 (offset 50mm) or 9X20 (offset 34mm). On my '12 Crew I ran 9X20 with the 265/50X20 stock tire.
Is there any difference or advantage in getting the 10X20 for my new wheels and will the stock 265/50X20 tire fit either wheel?
Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

I looked at BFG Advantage T/A (what I put on everything provided they have the correct size) and Michelin Defender LTX. For a tire size of 265/50R20, both have a rim range of 7.5in to 9.5in, with a recommended width of 8.5in. Given the two wheels, I'd do the 9in. The tires will fit on the 10in rims, but you will have an increased risk of breaking a bead loose under hard cornering, right when you don't want to be breaking a bead loose. A sharp tire shop will refuse to mount them as well, as they could be held liable if you were in an accident because a tire bead broke loose. If you really want the 10 inch rims, you're going to need to look at something like a 285/45R20, which will fit on a 10 inch rim but will be 30 inches in diameter as opposed to the 30.5 inches you have. You will get 1/4 inch of lowering, and when the speedo shows 60MPH you will actually be going 59MPH. On top of this, the 9in rims will have less of a problem rubbing when the wheel is turned than the 10s will.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sticking with the 9-inch rims.
