Maybe there is a problem with the USB flash. Try to use another USB. IT helped me.

I've never found a clear guide to viewing real memory usage. It's ridiculously difficult to try to figure out what a slabtop or /proc/meminfo means to an entire running system. I once had a bad incident with memory exhaustion. I was on my laptop while working, and the screen turned black. In a few seconds, a window popped up, and it was something there written about a memory error. When I tried restarting my laptop, all the data was gone. I had to go to in order to get back all of the files that I lost. And I did pay a good sum for it.

Forgot this link. Currently have a Sandisk 32GB drive working. It holds almost everything that both the wife and I like in our collection, but not the entire collection. We both like things the other doesn't and those didn't make it in.
