Default 2015 Durango Rear Heat

I noticed the rear heat in my Durango is on the colder side until I start moving then it gets lukewarm. Front heat works good. I think the blend door is working because if you go to full cold it does get colder. The floor vents behind the second row blow the same temp as the roof vents.

Where do I start?

1. I'd start checking the engine coolant temp after warm up and while moving. It should be around 200 degrees, +/- 5degrees.
2. I'd turn the heater up full blast, front and rear and stick a household thermometer in each opening to see if the temps were consistent for each zone and left and right.
3. If there are wide temp variations I suspect and partially blocked conduit or unconnected joint somewhere giving you a leak somewhere.
4. Close front and second row vents to see if 3rd row temps increase. If the temps increase in the 3rd row I'd suspect the fan isn't pushing enough air, this assumes you are correct in that the doors are opening/closing as appropriate.
5. Make sure you document on paper what ever notes you make.
6. If my hillbilly diagnosis doesn't help pin point the problem keep playing with the vents until you can show the dealer with your notes where the problem exisits.
7. Good luck

I did check the coolant and it's full. Just got the car part month ago I don't think there is a leak. I will do the other things suggested and get back to you with what I find
