So we very recently purchased a 2011 Durango, not even a week later a deer ran right out in front of us, like literally putting his head right into the front drivers side fender. Since it's a brand new car and policy, we have a hefty deductible to pay before insurance would cover. We thought it was just superficial, but I get the occasional smell of coolant, outside the vehicle. I havent see any fluid leaking, and it's not running hot per say, just slightly warmer than it had before. The flood light was the only thing that broke, well and the bumper cracked and dented, but we popped it out with heat. Is there likely damage, from the sound of things?
oh and the windshieldnwasher light is on now..?

 

Check the fluid level for the WSW fluid.

Might do a pressure test on the cooling system, and see if anything interesting shows up.
