V8 going away?
Reports are that a new inline 6 is coming and will eventually the V8 5.7 is going away. Power is power no matter how you make it, but definitely the end of an era.

I hope Jag had nothing to do with the design, the 3.9L that they used in the Lincoln LS was a friggin disaster. The ignition would fail at the drop of a hat, and a bad plug would backfeed into the ECM and fry the trans controls. It's so bad there's a company dedicated to rebuilding the ECMs for those cars.

The ignition would fail at the drop of a hat, and a bad plug would backfeed into the ECM and fry the trans controls. It's so bad there's a company dedicated to rebuilding the ECMs for those cars.
