Default Quick Question - OEM Install Garmin Mini Dash Cam

Hello All,

I had a quick question if anyone has done an OEM install for the Garmin Dash Cams?

I am looking at the Garmin Mini and I read other cars have OEM dongles that allow them to have a more OEM installation when powering from rear-view mirror vs having to route a power cord around the dash.

Not sure if this is even available for a 2015 Durango or if anyone has done anything to have a cleaner installation here?

Thanks

Ed

Power, both switched and constant, is available in the overhead console. And once the console is down it's not very difficult to run the wire above the headliner from the windshield to the wiring side of the overhead console. That's what I did in my 2011 Durango and ex-wife's 2014 Durango to power DVRs. In my 2011 I also installed a barrel jack to provide power for my wireless review camera that I'd use when towing my camper or enclosed trailer.
