I have a 2015 V6 Durango that needs the fuel filler neck replaced. Has anyone done this or have info on how difficult it is?
Who drove off with the fuel nozzle still in the filler neck? I've never been under a 3rd gen Durango, but look and see what kind of access you have. There will be two hoses held on with clamps. You will probably have to go up inside the quarter panel. Look up behind your L.R. wheel. Besides the hoses, there may be a small bracket with a screw going up into the body. There will also be 3 or 4 screws around the fuel filler holding it to the panel. Remove the hoses, the screws holding the filler neck to the bady behind the filler door and it should come right out. There might be that bracket behind it, or there may not be. Getting the fuel neck assembly out might be fun depending on how much room you have. I've worked on some that were a real pain but when you turn them juuuuusssst right, they will come right out.
Oh, don't smoke while your doing this. Unless you like burning your eyebrows off and walking around with a surprised look on your face until they grow back.
