well i have a 4.7l, so the volant for my truck hooks up right to the tb. the volant for the hemi hooks up to the hemi hat/air baffle. so its kind of pointless to get it for that reason. i dont know why they designed it like that. so i wouldnt get the volant for a hemi. sorry to burst your bubble. just looking out for you guys.

I have a spectre which is mopar or AEM clone for half the price. It works well and the truck pulls much better at higher rpms. There is an even cheaper version made by kool vue which looks exactly the same.

My truck came with an Airaid CAI already installed so I haven't had a chance to experience the truck without it. I average about 17 mpg between city and highway driving. Does that sound about right?

This is a real nice intake that just released:

http://airflowinnovationscorp.com/intakes/bfi.html

The BFI air intake is built from 16 guage cold rolled steel, TIG welded, the seams are finishd to a near seamless look and the entire intake is powdercoated in a high quality finish.
