thought id mention that i contacted magnaflow about the catback 16699 flow and about what muffler it uses.

"The universal muffler used in kit number 16699 is part number 14259 a 5x8x18 3” center/offset muffler. The CFM rating for P/N 14259 is 695. Thank you for contacting Magnaflow. "

I have an 18" Glass pack. Does anyone else run glass packs? I've only seen one other on here that is.

Put on a SI/SO Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 Series, removed resonator, and added a 15* chrome rolled edge tip behind the passenger tire (located it higher, farther back and at a 90* angle...hated how the stock one "sagged") over the weekend and I am pleased with the way it sounds. Haters gonna hate...I know. I was just looking for a deep throaty sound outside with little noise inside. That's exactly what it is.

'02 Ram 1500 QC 4X4 5.9l gas. Gibson swept side stainless cat back. Gibson ceramic coated SS shorty headers. Had a Gibson system on my '92 Ford and liked the sound. Like it on the Dodge. Did notice an increase in the exhaust note after installing the CAI on the Dodge.

Not likely! : ). I'm 48 years old and have owned the truck since '02. It only has 55800 mi. on it. I've done all the maint. and upgrades on it myself. I wrench for a living and don't enjoy working on my own stuff. The truck is either towing my race rig or hauling my sons to their activities.

Straight pipe, SCT tuner and a K&N drop in air filter. I'm still playing around with writing some tunes for it now. Need to work on the fuel tables and trans tables. So far just some increased trans pressures and some timing increases. I just like the sound of the straight pipe. Stock manifolds and cat, just a piece of pipe stuck in where the original muffler was. Original hangars and all.

Flowmaster 50 on my V6 Ram. LOVE IT! Had the muffler on there since '09. Seems to be getting louder now-a-days.
