Also anyone with the edge. Is it worth it? I only have CAI and exhaust soon to come, and that's where I plan on stopping for motor mods. Is edge the highest with 35hp increase? Thanks

Well I found out the answer..........Edge does not make a programmer for the 2006 model. They said they might look into making one, but they dont have one now. Which means probably that they won't ever make one!

Im guessing unless you have major mods...dont get a SCT? I only have a CAI right now so i think my best choice is a a superchip.

Had a Hypertech in my Silverado. About 1 mpg gain and a little better topend.

Went Diablo with my new(to me) Ram

Superchips 3815 dyno proven ~50horse and ~50torque increase on the 5.9L magnum V8. (That's what I have in my 2002), which would end result about 300horsepower, and 400torque. That's with a stock motor. I'm going to run dual filter cold air intake, and I allready have straight exhaust. After the chip I'll post dyno run results. I'm hoping for about 330horse, 420torque.

ok, i've been reading and reading, and I'm just more confused at this point... so first, the rig:
'03 2500 QC 4x4 HEMI with cat back (FM) and K&N CAI
what programmer is going to give me the best all around (giddyup, shift points, mpg)
i thought it'd be the SC 3815, but then read it's no bueno for an '03
been reading the cortex is pretty awesome, but wonder if it's no good for '03's as well.
can anyone give it to me straight?
thanks in advance!

Anyone have a good lead on a good economy chip? If so, what kind of mpg increase was seen?

I got the Diablosport and love it. For my 06 it gave me more options for tranny stuff than the other tuners. I like it a lot, few glitches with hooking up to a laptop to datalog, but I am working through those. I wish it had a dash display like the edge, oh well
