I currently have a Superchips 3815. For an 07 4.7L, it's about the only game in town. That said, it is a good step above stock performance. Part throttle response is much better than factory. Shifting is much improved. The Transgo helped out there also. If SCT offers support for my truck in the future, I will go get one...

Does the SCT do anything for the transmission? How about speed and rev limiters? MDS disable?

As I understand it, SCT does not change transmission programming. SC does. I know of some folks that have loaded the SC tranny tuning, and then their SCT over the top of that. I think SCT will let you change rev limits, don't know about the rest.

honestly there is computer software out there i have most of them but you can do so much more with software. its cheaper too! you can control every aspect of everything hooked up to the ecu. and your not limited to 1 vehicle. its like a better version than the diablo trinity! live monitoring and on the fly tuning.
