Even if its stolen you can pay 100 to get it unlocked.

 

Nope. Once reported stolen to Superchips, the tuner is locked out of any requests to unlock. If someone where to try and update a tuner that was reported stolen, Superchips would lock it via the updater.

Dang, that really stinks. If you got one pulled over on you could you send it to them to reprogram? Or is it just SOL

after all is said and done the stolen one is going back to superchips to be dealt with there and im going to be getting a new 3865. so beware dont buy a stolen one it causes lots of trouble and anger....and im still dealing with paypal and the douchebag i bought it from ....hes gonna be mad when i get my money back and he dont get the cortex back....so just to point another thing out superchips rocks they have excellent customer service im glad i dealt with great people...thank you superchips for the help.....
