Superchips Questions and Updates
#1062
I started reading this thread and realized it's going to take me forever to read all the posts. I have a 2007 5.7L QC 4x4 and was wanting to order the SC3865. Has anything else changed with this or is it safe for me to go ahead and order it OR has something else come out that would be better? Plus, where's the cheapest place to order it?

Nothing to do with my truck's PCM.
The tuner itself had an issue. This happens sometimes during load up of alpha firmware. It's always good we have a guinea pig, before it goes to beta testers.

3865 is the way to go. When the Hemi trans options are done, they will migrate to the 4.7 folks via the 3865.

Joe,
03 is a very difficult application. If you notice, no one else really has that application figured out. Don't give up hope just yet. The priority right now is to get 04-08 completed.

Since Superchips has given me the go to post a few pics, thought I post teaser pics.
Here's a couple pics of the part throttle shift screen. Notice the TP% on the left and the MPH on the right. You'll adjust the MPH. You'll start out stock. You'll be able to keep it stock or run reset to Superchips values as well. As you can see, these two pics are the 1_up screen (I had to do two pics, because you have to scroll down the screen to see the finals TP%'s and I wanted you to see all the %'s). You're actually looking at one screen. In this pic, for example, the stock first shift comes in at 13.13 MPH, at TP position 11.76%. I moved it up to 18.53 MPH. Later I found 17.76 MPH was more to my liking for that first TP position at 11.76%.
If you like, you can incrementally move up all the positions. This is only 1_up. You'll have all the other upshifts and downshifts to play with as well. Totally configurable to your liking and feel.
You can see how powerful the transmission tuning option will be.

hehe
It's powerful bud and you will like lots.
Another little tidbit:
With PT TM you'll be able to adjust all shifts corresponding to the TP% set on your right. You'll be able to set TM to the feel you like, all the way down to 0% (with a slider) for each TP position.
WOT TM is 1 through 4 (with slider).
If possible, I'll try to get pics of this later this weekend.

With the 1_up screen that you showed us, is that going to be available for all gears upshifts and downshifts?

I'm going to try later for more pics.
