I got this directly from the Superchips website FAQ number 13. FYI, you can also return your system back to stock, hint hint.

No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your warranty based solely on the fact that you have installed an aftermarket product. The dealership must prove in a court of law that an aftermarket product has decisively caused the damage to the vehicle under warranty. As a precaution, always remove the tuning before going to a dealer for service.

For information regarding denial of warranty coverage, review the Magnuson-Moss warranty act.

Hi All, have been around lurking for a few months. Usually there is no need to post anything new but I can not seem to find this by searching. Truck is 06 4x4 QC 5.7. Bit the bullet on a flashpaq 3865. Liking the better throttle response but hate SC shift schedule so reverted to stock. I believe it waits too long before shifting while at lower TPS%. What I would like to do is shift early, then if I need to downshift I will "stab" the petal to initiate it. I figure the best way is to run a data logging session to determine the throttle positions I typically use, then use those to make the shift schedule. In the interim, is there a similar site to the mcfail.com/superchips that seems to have vanished? I would be interested in a baseline SS like this? Think like a "tractor" shift schedule. I have not purchased the $40 ability to modify these yet (talk about "nickle-and-dimeing"), is this something within the program's capabilities?
Truck is 06 4x4 QC 5.7. Thanks!

Sorry but there's now way to make adjustments unless you spring for the $40. It will be the BEST $40 you'll ever spend. Once you've been convinced to fork over the extra $40 (), take a look at the 06 shift schedules found on www.mcfail.net/superchips. You will never look back. LOL

I get a 500 error from the mcfail page. Has it moved or been deleted?

I guess it's been a while since I've checked in... Your best bet for an answer is to post your question on the Superchis forum http://www.superchips.com/forum/index.php If not registered, register and post into the Ram Trucks, LX Cars and Classics forum.

Good luck...
