Have had my Superchips 3865 in my truck for a week now. Bought the tranny tune as well and have installed a schedule that Hammer gave me. Just want to say a big THANKS to everyone here that has helped me get my 2004 HEMI where it is today. My truck has came alive and I really love the way it shifts now! Thanks Superchips for all the R&D you guys put into the tranny tune, I'm a big fan. I was on the verge of selling my truck do to the fact it shifted so awful, now I am extremely happy with it. Wish I could adjust the TM for partial shifts, but it's a 2004. Thanks again everyone!, Lance

The only reason to update the product is if you are having an issue using the product, a critical update has been posted for your specific update to fix an issue, or you are looking to add a few downloadable features to the product like Advanced Trans Tuning and Advanced Data Acquisition.
You should be good to go.

so i had been emailing sonnie about my advanced trans issue and he stopped emailing me so i called superchips today and they guy told me he had the advanced trans on his 04 and tried to tell me that the settings weren't mph they were throttle position setting. well after playing around with it for a while i finally got it to work right and loaded scotts shift schedule. all i can say is wow but i need to tweak a little as it seems im not hitting 5th gear cursing at 60mph. it did disappoint me with superchips lack of customer support and knowledge of their own product.

That might be a question to send to Scott (Scott@Superchips). Did you replace both the PCM and TCM with an '04 PCM and TCM? The tuner you can get at several recommended resellers - see Superchips website. The Advanced Tranny Upgrade is US$39.95.

Mark,
I finally got around to installing your shift shcedule. Didnt drive the truck yet though. I know you said I may have to modify the TP% values some. Well your TP% numbers were exactly what I saw on the flashpaq when changing the values but, I could not select the exact MPH values you had in your tables. I just went with the closest value I could to what you had. Is this okay?
