Finally got it straightened out. I called Superchips and gave them my serial #. He sent me new firmware and told me to try again and the tuner took it without error. Glad its over with.

Here we go already. Plugged in my Superchips tuner to the computer to see if there was an update as well as get the advanced trans tune but, my computer isn't finding a driver when I installed the program. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it but still nothing. And of coarse, its saturday and they aren't open till monday!

 

hMac or Win? Win7 or XP? Download the drivers from SC site? Did you check SC forum for anyone else with the issue and how they resolved it?

 

I have windows 7 and I tried to download it from SC twice and both times, when I go to update...It says plug in you SC device to download your drivers and restart application. When I plug it in...nothing happens. The tuner turns on and I log in but nothing comes up on my SC screen. At the bottom, it still stays plug in your device. When I log out, it says (G1) FT_Close is not valid.

I have also looks on some other forums to see if anyone has had this problem but, they are from 2006 and most of them say that SC is working on the problem. One site was kind of helpful...they give a walk through of how to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it but, the walk through doesn't completely match up to mine. Anyone have any ideas???

*Update* just tried to install the driver again and it says a driver could not be found.

 

WIN7 has always had driver issues with after market devices. Use XP if you can. Maybe use someones laptop or their desktop if you dont have one?

 

I finally got ahold of someone at Superchips and they helped me out. They said for some reason, my computer wasn't recognizing the drivers that was there and would pop up saying "No Drivers Found". He walked me through and we got it figured out. Updated just fine and now I'm going to get the Trans Tune installed.
