this question has been asked at least a dozen times in this thread, but i'll be nice and answer anyway

the 3865 is basically an updated version of the 3815. it's smaller, more user friendly, has an extra button.

I figured that would happen thanks for answering. I didn't have time to read 65 pages! So as far as performance wise goes they are the same? What does the button do? I see 3815's used for decent prices, but I am wondering if its even worth it or if I should spend the extra on a new 3865. Thanks again for the help

Default Just read 66 pages.....whewwwwwww

I just read all 66 pages of this post and I am ready to be a beta tester. I have a 2007 Ram 2500 HD 5.7L Hemi, and would love to be a tester for SuperChips!

How do I go about getting on this list?

Thanks

Default what are some good settings to run

I got my sc in the mail today and was playing with it a little. I saw some of the shift points that have worked well for others and tried to program some of the same settings. when I go to set the rev limiter it goes to 0600 max and then I try to adjust the shift points and it tells me the rev limiter needs to be higher but I cant go any higher. If any one could give me some insight on how to adjust this and what settings have worked best for them I would appreciate it

I assume you mean 6000 rpm. See if you have boarder settings using the 91 tune. There are many here that have much more experience using the SC3865 than I. And I'm sure they will pitch in with better help than I have given.

I think thats were my problem is because its minimum rev limit is 0100 and its max is 0600. I was playing with it and i can adjust the shift points if i set the rev limit below 0200. I thought that those numbers were odd.
