Excellent point, I forgot that the 03 guys can just pull the wire and get rid of TM. So it is really us 04 guys who are getting the short end of the stick.

I think the SC had a more aggresive tune to it still, BUT that could also be because I am so use to how firm the shifts were, I mean you could really feel them with the SC and it really felt like the SC 91tune pulled alot more when stepping in it, with the DSP and the partial shifts you really dont notice the upshifts and downshifts and because its so smooth now my butt dyno is way off from what I am use to.

Driving down the freeway this morning to get to work I passed someone who I thought was moving incredibly slow so I hit the gas and flew by them without looking at the speedometer until it felt right. Now normally I can tell you how fast its going at any given time because I am so use to the SC shift patterns and use to how it sounds at diferent speeds. I look at my speed today and where I think it should be around 75mph its cruising at 90mph.

Also let me just say I was already liking the DSP before I even plugged it in... the cable is more flexable and comes out of the top of the programer, unlike SC where it was thicker and came out the bottom. Now I just gotta figure out some of the other features. I read somewhere that you can adjust for the rear gear ratio, and there should have been a CAI 91 Tune which I couldn't find anywhere either.

So I'm curious about the custom tunes. Where exactly do you download the files for things like CAI or CAI+Exhaust tunes. The tuner comes preloaded with different octane tunes I realize, but if I want a CAI+Exhaust tune 93oct, is there a file for free? I've seen the $75 dollar Bamchip(I think) tune, but thats a little extreme for just a couple bolt on mods to me.

Just had to send the Fedex man away with my tuner, they wanted COD when I already paid for it.

One more thing, Will it hurt to drive for 12 miles to the gas station with a 93 octane tune with only 87 in it?

You should be fine with just a few bolt ons, but you may need to adjust a few things if you are running to lean or to rich because of them. As for custom tuing you need to find a CMR Dealer that can do them for you.

I am going to have to go back into mine when I get home and take a look and see if I can find the "Quick Adjust Parameters" screen and maybe firm up the shifts a little. And I really want to find out how and where I need to go to adjust for the rear axel ratio, it says right on their home page that it can do it.

If it is anything like the superchips it adjusts your timing how badly I cant tell you, Id just wait til you filled up and then set the tune.

Damn, disregard my previous post, it was the U-7135 that had the axel adust and CAI 91 tune, the U-7137 which is for dodge trucks does not have those options...

From what I have read, there is no CAI tune to the trucks bc the CAI doesn't lean out the trucks the same way it does for the cars. Not sure if that is actually true but that is the reason given for the lack of a CAI tune for us.

Its alright, I just thought it was missing something since those features were not on there. I still need to go into the quick adjust menu though and adjust the shift firmness, although it is fairly nice right now...
