Data Loggers
If best pre Cam Data-Log was 5.6 them my guestamation is that teach will hit the 5.25 to 5.3 Range with traction and similar conditions (parameters spare on/spare off) or as Red says if he can "Hook-up" which I am yet to understand since I cannot spin mine,,,Yet! LOL

I hope you are right about me being able to get a converter by halloween. That is the next thing I really want but don't know if I will be able to swing it by the time winter rolls around. From all the things that I have read and heard, a new performance converter really wakes up these trucks.
Not as good as a nice cold morning, but you got what you got...
The humidity will squeeze some time off but thats maybe a tenth, the real killer is that he is jumping near 50* in temperature between one run and the other which is huge and that there is what will hurt him more than anything. It will absolutely run great there is no question about that BUT I do not expect much of a change if any under those conditions.
Maybe we can start paying closer attention to our inlet air temperature. To see what effects it is having on our runs. Side note, I have an appointment to reflash my PCM tomorrow and reset the ABS warning. I guess I'll try th Diablo afterwards to see if is still a problem. Talked to the local performance engine builder today about cylinder heads. He told me the set up would be heads, 6.1 springs and custom push rods to establish optimum rocker arm geometry determined by the specific cam used. I haven't heard anyone say anything about any valve geometry issues but has anyone really checked this with the various cam installs?
But as a general consensus of the board, because the 6.1 push rods and springs work, everyone just goes with it. There is more science behind it but because it works everyone just goes with it.
Took the truck out for a run tonight. The temp was 86 and the humidity was 64% (I got this info off of weatherbug), running about 3/4 tank of gas and had a little bit of lumber in the bed. I did run into a little problem as they have put a rumble strip along the edge of the highway that I like to do my timed runs on. It slowed me down off the line as I was about 13 hundredths slower to 60' than I was last time when the road was smooth. Guess I am going to have to try to find a new spot to do my runs at. Anyway, here is the readout from dynolicious.
