If your TB is electronically operated yes, but I think it has throttle cables

I did this mod yesterday and I have noticed a better idle . My truck would sometimes jump up about two hundred rpm sitting at a stop light . So far with the wire hooked up it has not done that so far .

I haven't had a chance to take the truck out other than my short little hop the other day. Today was a "Jeep day", LOL. So I'm still not 100% sure I can see a definite throttle response increase. But I answered yes to your poll, since there steady idle is an improvement for sure...

Just did it on my 05 HEMI, I triple braided some solid ground wire (maybe 16 gauge?) and ran it from the upper left bolt to the bolt in front of the hood support.

Definitely noticed the difference in idling, it was steadier. Took it around the block, off (ice) roading and donuts behind the church, and noticed it was a bit smarter with shift points (everything is also tuned via superchips) and it did improve throttle response.

May I also add, the whole project took me 30 minutes, and I did it out in the rain in pitch black, about an hour ago.

I'll add some pics in the morning if anybody wants them

Well, the ground wire is installed. The idling was the same(it always idled smooth). The throttle response seems to be a bit better, and the shifting seems more defined. It's hard to tell, because it's pretty slick outside. So, time will tell when the roads dry up a little. But for a free 30 min mod, why not? I do have some pictures I took, which I will post in a bit. I also said yes to the poll.

Tomorrow this will be done. Have had issues with my idle after the cam was put in. If this smooths it out sweet. If not its free and takes about 10min to do

May I also add in I used 38 inches of wire when I did mine. Leaves enough slack but still is firm.

I did this mod this am before I left for work! I noticed right away a smooth tac but also got to try out "wot" being as I live on a country road, and I must say I noticed a difference....mainly in shifting but seemed to a quicker pedal response too. +1 on this easy, cheap mod.
