Muffler
Converted the stock exhaust to true duals (keeping both CATs) and added a Flowmaster Super 44 to each side. Quite pleased with the aggressive sound, while keeping it at a respectable level (I live in a condo and the HOA has already outlawed motorcycles to keep the noise down
)

I have a single Borla TurboXS muffler in place of the factory one. I really do like it and spent a couple months researching exhausts. It doesn't drone like most straight pipes or a dual muffler/pipe setup. It has a deeper louder tone than stock at idle, opens up when you get on it, but quiets to little or no sound when you get off the pedal which is exactly what I wanted.
Not exactly. A smaller pipe brings with it higher exhaust velocity, up to a point. That is what gives more low end power...not back pressure.
I expect you already installed the pipes, but for the benefit of those reading now...with a Hemi and dual exhaust, I wouldn't go bigger than 2 1/2 pipes. For 4.7L, run a 3 inch single or 2 1/4 duals.
[edit] I voted Magnaflow. I have a 12279. I also ran an AeroStealth 170 for a while, which was a good muffler, just a bit louder. Probably wife-friendly for most, just not me!

Just replaced my Flowmaster (or should I say DroneMaster?) with a Dynomax VT Muffler 17963. After towing the boat to Table Rock lake and back last summer I decided I had my fill of the constant hum. I also wanted to keep the dual rear exits the Flowmaster had.
So far the VT is quiet and I can actually think and hear the radio at a realistic level at cruise speed. However, on heavy acceleration it gives the straight through glass pack sound. We'll see how long the internals last with this.

Thought I'd weigh in on the VT muffler after two years. Internals are still working properly. Muffler is showing some outer shell rust but is still solid. Highway miles have been so more enjoyable without a constant drone. I'd purchase this again for sure.
