I hear what your saying. i have four kids so three in the back and one in the front that never gets to watch the movie with the others. i don't watch it because of the dangers of driving. I like that is is GPS capable and at lunch i can seat in the parking lot and watch the news or some Jerry Springer!

I had debated with getting an overhead or headrestDVD player for my daughter in the back but I bought her a portable DVD player 2 Christmas' ago so she using that while we are driving. The one thing I really like about using a mounted DVD player is you are not having to fumble with power cords and or taking up space in the vehicle you need to move out of the way. Maybe when here DVD player dies I will mount on so she can see it from the back but not one I can seewhile driving.

I forgot to mention, your pics of your install looked totally professional too.

That's cool! Is it the type that folds in and out?
It would be nice to have a tv up front for when your not driving. I would have a hard time not to watch, if someone was watching it.

After nine or ten months, are you still happy with the TV screen? The company you referenced still has low cost units. I am thinking about installing a unit.

well honestly doubt he was because that's about the ****tiest install i've seen. if you go through all that time one, why not voer the edges wehre the little divets are for the factory radio, and why not flush mount it in unless there isn't enough room., and why do all that for the ****tiest screen i've ever seen. this thread makes me laugh hysterically. o and that screen= failure

if anyone wants to see a true way to install a double din without demolishing your truck look into bwhites thread where he puts a monitor in his truck. this is some straight up rice rocket hacking right here

Yeah, Ben. You tell him. If he wants a professional install he should go to Circuit City. ROFL!!!
Is that like a McDonald's employee tellinghim how to grilla burger??

He spent $110 on ebay and installed himself. If he wanted a professional install he woulda taken it to the professionals.
Your epeen is amazing.
