What is the worst design flaw in the 3rd gens?
Old thread brought back from the dead...but I have alot of check marks next to all the replies.
Id say for my rig it would be the "hemi tick", i cant count how many people have commented on it without me even mentioning it to them...also the EGR valve, ive replaced it 2 times already...and I already have rust bubbles around the rear fenders, i wash it at least once every week to two weeks. (I live in ND) so we have pretty harsh road chemicals

I'd say fitment. On my truck anyways, I notice that the bed is off centre by an 1/8th inch or so, I also notice it on my doors as well, they seem slightly higher then the roof, and may also stick a bit out from the body. And that's where the bulk of my rock chips are.
Ugly orange strip on 06 headlights, 2nd gen and older seats are way more comfortable, these kinda suck imo. Depending on what you do with a 4x4 (I'm talking 1500's only) ifs can be pretty fragile. Of course the LSD. I haven't blown my diff yet lol I'll keep driving till I do too. These trucks are pretty freaking solid for the most part. Oh and any 02-05 (maybe 04) WILL eventually get cracks in the dash, it will happen . They fixed it in 06 I believe. That's all I can think of.
