I love the look of this mod, and I have thought about doing it, but there is one thing I want to know. With your head lights, and fog lights, and driving lights, what really is the point ofdoing this? Is it ok to drive down the road with all these lights on?

^^ i mean, it's not any worse than driving around with hi-beams on...ya know? i'm in the city, and i drive an hour and a half out to the burbs at least once or twice a week. usually late at night (after work...so liek 3-5am)...and i'm not used to driving these roads with 55mph speed limits, with no streetlights, and all the curves and ****. i want a bully bar not only cause it looks cool, but to have some big *** lights on there to light up everything the **** that's in front of me. and like, if i drive passed a car or something, i'd switch them off as i would with my stock hi-beams.
oh...so many things i wanna do to my truck.

well... we live out in the country and, knock on wood, we havnt hit any deer (one did run into the ram, no damage) I make my own "off-road fog lights" with bulbs from the landing lights of small planes.
I have 4 on the front of my blazer right now, when i turn them on at night they light up everything, they are easily 3-4 times brighter than my high beams, and cover 3-4 time more road and ditch area than the headlights, I have 2 for the Ram, but i cant deside if they are going behind the grille (probably 4 of em) or two turned up side down hanging by the front lic. plate.

I had 2 sets on my 07...... Looked great... But then i found out when i went last week for my inspection they they were illegal.... Well... thye were'nt illegal per say... just i had too many... I guess NH only allows 3 aux lamps... and since the truck came stock with fog lamps... I am only entitled to add ONE light to the front... I'll miss em' tho...

i dont have to do inspections, but in iowa if you have more than 4 lights turned on (like my headlights and the 4 off-road lights = 6) its a ticket for "excessive lights" but its not illegal to have them put on the truck, i could do a dozen
