0-60 times in Dodge Ram Hemi?

RE: 0-60 times in Dodge Ram Hemi?
I test drove a Ram Saturday night, regular cab, Hemi, 4X4, off-road group. I know the 4X4 is a little heavier, but I wouldn't think it's as heavy as a 2WD Quad-Cab. To make a long story short, acceleration felt pretty strong, but not fast and not as impressive as I expected from 345HP and 375 lbs-ft of torque. I have to admit, it was a lot faster than the F150 I test drove, but I guess I was expecting too much from a heavy full-size truck.
I still plan on getting it if the dealer comes through, it's just not the beast I was hoping for

now this is funny, seems like people pull up and wanna see the toy move fast.... especially when they see the graphics on the side. I have had it since the 6th of march and did one run off with a silverado, RC, SB, and whooped his ars.. when he came to the next lite he just sat there and looked forward... I smiled, and watched him pull off...his sounded good with dual exhaust, but that was it....
still, all in all, I get lots of looks with this truck....love the Ram..........GUIDO

I ran up on a new SS the other day on the way home. I rode beside him for about a mile and he actually droped below the speed limit to drop back. Maybe he has run a Hemi already.

There's a King Cab Titan in my lot at work that I'm dying to catch. I always park my Ram next to him when he's in the lot. I want to throw on an exhaust or headers or a chip before I line up, though. No need to re-invent the wheel (i.e. the drag tests show Titans are faster than Rams, stock).

I thought the the same thing when I test drove my first Ram, you need at least the 2500 with the Cummins to put a smile on your face. I plan at least going with the K/B blower on mine to make me happy.
Having the Typhoon for 3 years now, everything I test-drive seems slow.

I've seen several of your posts and you seem to want to brag on your typhoony. I've even seen a post where you asked an SRT-10 owner who was selling if they were selling because "it was slow."
I'm not sure if your fishing for a comments on your vehicle or what, but here's one. Go brag about it at a another forum rather than try to start something here.
