Well you have to be in good shape and stong as hell to do what I do... (firefighter/paramedic) lol I would say bring it on, but it is too cold up here in chicago. I have a compromise though... I drive down there and we settle it with some good old largemouth bass fishin'. As for Nick... my aunt lives near by you, (not sure exactly where but near denver), so I will keep my eye on you too. You want to know the funny thing? We all have red QCSB 4x4's. lol

Local tournys, regional, or pro? My dad and I used to do illinois team bass tourny's... at least until his back finally went all the way out and he coundn't make it 9 hours on the water no more. I really miss that ALOT. I'll bring down the 17ft nitro and we will settle it once and for all! lol jk though I have always wanted to come down there and fish. You guys have much larger bass. The biggest one I ever caught has been 11lbs 4oz. I could get my whole hand in the mouth without touching the sides. lets just say that the 10'' lizard looked tiny in it's mouth. lol I wish I could come down there and go for a 15 pounder. Really makes me wish it was not 10 degrees and that was not 2feet of snow.

Well for someone in her 50's... lol Congrats for you on that. Now you will be a city boy. At least your subdivision will get plowed every now and then now. lol I just got engaged a month ago too. And better yet she wants me to mod and lift my truck, and she is saving to buy stuff for it too. Does anyone smell a K&N CAI for valentines day? hehehe

Belonged to three clubs when I lived in Ga., routinely placed in top 6. Fished a few Red Man Tour events. But I sold my boat when the folks got sick, too depressing seeing it sit in the yard depreciating.
I don't do much here in Fla. but I've taken three over 10 lbs. out of my pond in Ga., I've got 2 on my wall now that are over 12.
I think I still got pics of my 19' Javelin with 175 HP in the Outdoor section here. I miss that boat. I put the $ I sold it for in an account so when the folks got better I could have a sizeable down pmt. on another, but I used the money to buy my Grand Cherokee daily driver. So it'll be awhile before I have another boat. I have a Bass/Hunter, the ABS deal with the swivel seat, and a 9.9HP for it, but I mainly fish ponds of 100 acres or smaller now, so I just do the trolling motor thing with it. I keep it at a buddy's in Ga whose got a 33 acre pond on his farm where I fish and duck hunt out of it. I keep a canoe on the bank at our pond, it's only 4.5 acres...

Congrats to you too! Watch out for those cold winters! That's how babies are made! lol

A CAI would be good, just start dropping hints now.

I am getting a baby for Valentines day (expected the 15th), which is ironic because my last name is Valenti

I will miss bombing through the deep snow drifts though. And driving past all the rds in the ditch with a perfectly good tow rope in the bed of my truck! LOL

Yeah but some times those ponds are the best... After all Bill dance has made a show of it. I pulled that one out of a pond here to. Not open to public, no power motors, in the middle of no where, and best yet no one knows how to fish it. Sorry about your folks and your boat. Being a bass fisher I know that has to be killing you. At least you can fish more than 6 months of the year. lol We have a 94 Nitro (rick clunn series) that is 17' and has a 115 merc on it. All I can say is that when we go skiing... That water gets a whole lot harder at 60-65mph. OUCH! lol

My friend and I have a competition of who can pull the most people out of the ditch over the winter. lol Trust me it gets worse... people have no clue how to drive. I love driving on a snow covered road in a 4x4 ram with 33'' AT's doing 40 and then get passed by a civic. And then pull them out of the ditch 3 miles up. And she already said I would have it for my Birthday in may. I am going to back that up by adding headers, cams, a programmer, new cats, and changing the FM50 to a MF 5x8. And as far as the snow drifts... there is always parking lots. Congrats on being a new daddy!!!! And that is what birth control is for.
