Hammer, Have you been talkin to my wife...lol She wants kids yesterday, but I have managed to talk her into waiting until I begin my 2nd year at college. I decided to head back to the books for my bachelor degree in Engineering. She is afraid she won't get preggo right away as she tried for 2yrs before with her ex. I'm a home man, never go out at all besides dinner with my wife. I would rather clean the garage than go to a concert. I stopped hitting the bars after I bought my first home which was a week before I turned 23. I'm that guy in the Chrysler commercial that chooses the minivan over the Harley...lol Actually, I chose the Digital program thermostat over "toys" per say. Now, I mix it up a bit to enjoy life a little. My wife says I'd be a total lush for kids, but man, I just don't know about all the headaches!

I raised a child in my previous marriage from 6 months until she was 5 years old. Being around a child every day and raising one in not the same as going to Wal*mart and having a screamer in line next to you! You adjust quickly and after the child is old enough to talk and know right from wrong, it will only be a screamer if you allow he/she to be. My step daughter was raised with southern hospitality (since all her relatives are from GA) so she learned at a young age that she needed to obey mom and dad. She was very polite and we taught her early in life that screaming and crying got her nothing! I can't stand when you go to a grocery store and there is a 3-4 year old screaming at mom because they didn't get the candy they wanted, but just remember that those are (OPC) other peoples children, and that is what they are alowed to get away with.

But I do agree to with you to wait until you are done with school. Trying to go to school after a night of getting up to attend to a baby would be difficult.

 

OK, who's gonna start talkin' sh*t tonight? I need something to do, otherwise I'm gonna have to answer the 18 year old's texts whose got a damn crush on me. I've gotten four so far since 8:00!

Relax dude, I ain't messin' with this one. She's just a mixed up kid. Been in & out of about half a dozen BAD relationships with guys in their late teens/early 20's who have used the hell out of her. She's got a real self-esteem problem. I hunt with her dad and talked to her a couple times about it. She's looking for someone with some maturity and has a little crush, that's all.
But hell, after the last bi*ch texting me 50 times a day and calling me constantly, this one is now texting me like 20-30 times a day. Aggrevating as hell...
