just saw on the news here a dealership in phoenix, arizona is offering if you buy a ram for full price, you can get another car for .99 cents????

If you are paying "full price" for a Ram, you are probably at least $10K over what you would pay with rebates/incentives/deals. That $0.99 can actually be pretty expensive.

It's the fine print that kills you.

 

Yeah, then you still have to pay the sales tax on the $10k over what you would have paid initially, so that is another thing to think about. Also, I think you still have to pay sales tax on the full pice of the car they are selling for .99cents as well. That means you have just payed on $10k too much in sales tax.

 

yeah not worth it. id rather get a new ram for 20k than pay 40-50k for the ram and a im geussing they are giving base model avengers or calibers for the .99 cents. kind of a gimmick.

 

no doubt on the fine print. id be interested to see how the whole thing works/ models its including

 

That's what we did, got the killer deal on the Ram, then went back and lowballed them on the Caliber
