I've always got a special place in my heart for fire fighters. My brother is battalion chief here in Memphis.

FreakinKeith, how did you drop the control arm to the ground? I was following your pictures and I just couldn't figure it out. I removed the the mounting between the upper and the lower control arm, but that doesn't drop it all the way down - it seems like I am missing something... Can you help? I know I already PM'd you, but I thought I'd ask it here since it would be helpful to anyone else who is having the same trouble as I do...

BTW, very good instructions...!

It is a 2wd. 2500 instead of 1500, but I was looking at your pics and everything pretty much looks the same. I just couldn't figure out how to drop the control arm all the way to the floor...

Well I did it as well....I did the Fat Bob kit with the Fabtech shocks.
I love it and the way the looks change. I can't wait until these tires wear out so I can get a little beefier ones.

awesome! some more fire fighters on the board. i did fresno city fire academy, then volunteered with american ambulance for a short time. now im 4 years into USMC Crash, Fire, Rescue (aircraft fire fighting) truck looks great!

as far as dropping the lower control arm to the ground, you will probably have to take the end link off your steering components.

did you stack the stock space with your 2 inch? and has it sunk at all since they are polyurethane, sometimes the coilspring will sink into it a litte. this is for freakinkeith806.
