Default 5.7 Hemi and 9.5 mpg?

Damn. I expected at least 12 in town. That really sucks.

that does suck, my truck weighs in at over 7000 lbs. and is lifted and turns 35" tires and I get between 11.5 and 12 mpg in town mileage...

I get 9.5 - 10 all the time and it's probably my fault. I bought the Hemi for the power and I don't see a need to be lightfooted.

My truck is due for plugs & wires but I don't expect that to change the mileage -- just make more power!

Ease up off that pedal. The mod I made that made the most dramatic MPG gain was the E-fan. Give it a try...

Just a question:

Hows an electric fan help your gas mileage so much? What causes such a rise in MPG with the addition of this mod? Just didn't make a ton of sence to me.

you dont have to use then engines power to turn the fan anymore...its replaced by electric fans that use electric power instead of the engine power. think about how much u can feel it when your fan comes on...well, on mine anyways

John: You're right on the mileage. The plugs were burnt down to the porcelain on my 4.7 when I changed them I didn't see any change in mileage at all. Thankfully she does pull harder when I stomp on it at 100 km/hr.
