guy in a miata hit me...lol
And for your baton and knife, you must have a damn good lawyer. Because you should've been suspended for what you have. You know damn well you didn't think "You know what, I need something to break my window out, I'll get a night stick." If I was the judge, I would've made you get rid of those items, and get one of the safety items that has the special blade on it for cutting the seat belt, and the tip for breaking windows. You could make excuses for any item put into the vehicle, but no matter what, it's truly your intent when you put it in there. A baseball bat alone is illegal. At my school, you will be suspended for that, unless if you have other baseball equipment, ball, glove, etc.
And on subject, hope you get your SRT bumper, truck should look good with that on.
wow, a bit strict are ya?
Both times i was pulled over in the dually, i outright told them what was in the truck. They searched the hell outa me, but let me go both times. Fireextinguisher, 2x4 (hood prop), tire iron, baseball bat, not sure what else we kept in it.
Only thing our school booted you for was if you had a gun in sight in your vehicle or if the drug dogs found something. If the shotgun was under the seat (as most were), you were free to go.

Sounds like if you slowed down to accomodate his doucheness you could have avoided the accident all together. Hopefully you learned a lesson from this and will do what you can to avoid accidents in the future regardless of who's in the right or who's in the wrong! Being I ride a motorcycle I have been in positions where I have the right of way but do all I can to avoid the stupidity of other drivers and having an accident. Being dead right on a motorcycle doesn't matter, the only thing that would matter is the fact that you would be dead and even though you were driving your Ram and you were the bigger vehicle not every time everything goes the way you think it will. What if the in the unlikely chance that when he hit you, you blew your front tire, lost control and flipped your vehicle over and got slamed by an 18 wheeler and killed. Would it really matter if you were in the right then?

Just get three estimates, take the most expensive one out of the three, hand it to him and say "pay up, or lose your liscense". If he hadn't been driving like an idiot, he wouldn't be in the predicament in the first place.--then take the money and do what you want with it. Now---get some sleep :0)

HAHA nice...
And I'm sorry about your dog bro - looks like an awesome one...our family / my parents' dog is getting up there, and I'm dreading the day. Me and the woman have a 1 year old retreiver though to soften the blow - hopefully.
and about the accident...I let off the gas, but I didn't jam on the brakes...I think I got carried away while telling it when I said "I wasn't going to slow down"
