A supercharger can be put on any truck. All the first turbo and supercharger Hemi installs started on the '03 trucks.

Everyone that I've looked at doesn't make a supercharger for the '03 Hemi. Actually, just look at the Kenne Bell site. It says that they never will make one for the '03 Hemi. It's because of the PCM in the trucks.

Default sts not worth the price...

i would just build it your self. i made my own oil well, pump and piping, going to keep turbo oil separate from engine oil . the only debate i have is using a twin turbo or a single. if the truck will only handle 6-8 psi why not just run one. but i already built the dual exhaust i'd love to keep the dual... should i get two and run them both at about 3 psi each or get one and run it at 6. how does that work . or should i get one tiny one to run at say two to three and then a bigger one to push the 6 you can use the small one to pre pressure the bigger one so you dont have the turbo lag but you have the volume with the larger ... please let me know what you guys think...

The stock engine will live with 6 psi or up to 8 psi with methanol injection to keep things cool and not detonating. Any higher and the cast aluminum pistons will start breaking apart.

Towing is definitely not a good idea, especially on a stock engine. Boost increases with engine load meaning towing up a hill will cause high boost levels at low RPM. While this provides great torque, the pistons and valves are going to melt.
I know this thread is a little old, but I wanted to clarify some things.

If you order the full kit, it comes with everything you need. Bigger injectors, a 2bar MAP sensor, and a Diablosport Predator preloaded with a tune for your truck. The tuner is pre-tuned for a 6-7psi tune.

Towing is not a problem with the kit. If you plan to do alot of towing, consider swapping to a lower boost wastegate spring, to 4psi perhaps. Read the first testimonial here http://ststurbo.com/testimonials .

With the intake, STS offers a snorkel kit, to place the filter up in the bedside, out of the elements.

ANYTHING you put on the truck that doesnt come directly from the dealer and gets installed by the dealer voids a warranty. Bigger/smaller rims/tires can void warranties.

Now you putting a turbo on there is boost it and make it go faster.........what do you think the dealer would say about that if you brought it to them with cracked pistons/heads or whatever else?? Huh??

100% NOT true weed... Look up Mangnuson v Moss... The dealer has to proove that the part installed is th cause of the failure in the part needing warranteed / in question. In other words they cannot say that adding a lift caused your engine to blow up. Now adding boost is going to make that a lot easier for them to deny you a waranty claim but by law it is still covered until they can prove it is the cause of the failure.

Go for it and put the damn system on. I e-mailed a guy from sts about my truck when i 1st got it, but didn't have the jack to drop on the system itself. They seem like really nice ppl and where willing to help. I asked about running twins and they guy told me the rods would hole only 580hp. I think that was right but it has been so long I can't really remember. The have a universal kit that was a lot cheaper and came with everything needed i believe. Good luck in your endeavor. Oh and if you have the money to dump on this turbo kit and are mechanically inclined who gives a rats a$$ about warranty, I know I wouldn't.

I agree and Ive read it many times. But if you boost it and end up cracking pistons or rings, you know and I know and the dealer knows if you put on a turbo and that happens what caused it. You dont need to be CSI to figure it out. Now some things like bigger tires causes the trans to quit is one thing because they are not DIRECTLY connected to one another. But when you do a turbo and forced induction and end up with internal engine failures, you gotta expect and be prepared for a voided warranty.

I understand what you are saying and I agree the Act, but Im not serious direct related failures.

And WE ALL know how dealers can be azzholes about anything including denying or refusal to do repairs.
