But your website says "HIDExtra HID Kit has specially programmed our digital chips inside our ballast to function with OEM standards; thus giving you no errors, no flickering and no DTC codes". Why are you saying now that you have special capacitors? that means your Ballasts are just like everyone else's.
Am i gonna need something additional now to prevent flicker?

HERE's a site to refer everyone to. They should be looking up their own damn bulb sizes. If they don't know how to find their own bulb sizes then they shouldn't be installing an HID kit.just my .02

Oky doky, I finished installing my HID kit today and made it as clean and neat as possible. Once day turned to dusk then to night I went out to check on the fruits of my labor. Flipped them on had an initial high discharge then dimmed and proceeded to brighten up to normal intensity (I assume that's normal ?) I went on a drive to test out my ballast mounting and to see if there would be any random turn-offs or flickering, nothing. Absolutely love the amount of light the 6k set gives.

Now here's the downside. When I flip them to Hi-Beam (I got the 6k Bi-Xenon kit) they shut off. I've already tried taking out the jump cables but didn't fix the problem. I'm about to go try and switch the diodes around and if that doesn't work or does but makes my normals my highs and my highs normal then I'll swap it back. If any of that doesn't work then I'll just put the jumps back in since it wont make a difference either way.

Also, I noticed the notch it would move to, shifting it into "high" beam. Which way should this be pointing. With the rotational lock-in I couldn't get that notch to point up, so I pointed it to the side of the truck, if it should be pointing inwards to the grille then let me know . . . I'll be awaiting some input. Thanks
