Well, if you are interested in Gibson, maybe give their tech dept a call and ask about the spare tire issue and possible resolutions. It might be something easy. I didn't want my spare in the bed of my truck and I kind of liked the all on one side look of the dual sports because almost nobody around here has that. 95% of the aftermarket exhausts I see around here are dual rear exit and most are obnoxiously loud for me. The other 5% either dump out both sides or under the truck. You can find the Gibson's aluminized in the $400 price range. Magnaflow will generally run you a couple hundred more. But if the spare is an issue or you just prefer Magnaflow, look that route. There's also flowmaster or create your own.

depends what ur looking for....do you want just plain and simple aftermarket, you want loud as hell, you want quiet but throaghty... gotta be specific man. I have on my hemi just the stock piping all the cats out, long tube headers, off road y pipe and a super 40 flowmaster and it sounds rank, not to loud in the cab either. Would suggest it to anyone

The setup I have is all stock piping with cats but I swapped mufflers to a Flowmaster 40 series and have it exiting before my right rear wheel and it sounds good. If Flowmaster offers a 40 series with a single inlet/dual outlet you could go that route and I'm sure you would be happy with it. As it was said before Youtube is a great place to hear exhaust clips. Just a thought I was on summitracing.com and they offer cat-back systems pretty cheap for our trucks.

Flowmaster's cat-back kit for your truck (hemi right?) is part number 17423.

Gibson's dual side (dual extreme) for your truck is part number 6550.

Magnaflow has a 16851 dual split rear stainless kit but I don't see an option to dump behind the tires. I guess it could be modified or maybe there is something else available I'm not finding.

Of course, you can always find a muffler you like and get a custom job done on the pipes and such.

I love the way Aero Turbine AT3030XL mufflers sound on our Hemi Rams. You cqan find just the muffler on ebay for about $175 shipped. I think that may be a bit louder than what you are looking for though. I'm debating myself on having dual rear outlets or dual rear split side outlets, one behind each wheel. The one thing I don't like about behind the rear wheels is that everything kicks up at the tips but I like the way it looks. I am not sure if Aero makes full sytems so you might have to have custom made piping but I could be wrong. Here are some sound clips of what it sounds like inside and outside the truck:

Had the Dual Extreme on my 06 Dakota, had the ceramic coated ss headers too...It couldnt have fit better...exactly where I wanted it. Couldnt see the pipes, only the tips..and it sounded sick on the 4.7~! Not real loud inside but could hear it. Wasnt real loud outside but heard it loud and clear.
