2008 taillights

Default 2008 taillights

looking to upgrade my tails, any suggestions? looking to go led, not the space ship ones

These are the ones I have and they have been great. I had them tinted black also.

yup i also got the 3rd brake light. makes a huge difference.

man teach those are dark how are they at night? Did you use that night shade stuff?

They are still really bright at night, much brighter than the stock bulbs. I used vinyl tint on the tails, it was the first time I ever tried tinting and seemed to come out pretty good.

with the vinyl sheets, is it like shrink wrap? Use a heat gun to mold it. I like it I think I may do that to mine, been thinking about tinting the headlights just a little bit too.

It is kind of like a shrink wrap, I used a hair dryer to heat my tint. The process is not that hard to do, wet the tint and the light with a water/soap solution, lay on the tint, squeeze out the bubbles, heat it up while squeezing out the rest of the bubble and then trim it to the light. Once I did the first one, the second one was much easier. After that I also did the reflectors on my headlights and tinted the front windows too.
