I have an 06 Ram Sport 2500 QC HEMI 4x4. I have a Volant cool air intake and Gibson swept side exhaust. With the intake and exhaust I get about 13 MPG city and on cruise control at 65 MPH I get about 20 MPG highway. You can see a pic of my trucks exhaust on Gibson Performance website under trucks or exhaust. It's the grey 2500 Sport.
This one is for the 2006 MDS guys. Have you done the math to get those mpg numbers or you are just reading the overhead? I wanted to know if you have done the fill up once, record, fillup again and find out the mpg.
I drive in the city 95% of the time and average 10.8mpg. But have been told that removing the tailgate and the spare tire reduces weight by around 150pounds which would in turn increase my mpg by atleast 1mpg. And getting a CAI and a superchip in a few weeks so I will be around 13mpg in the city which is pretty good. I hate my friends dad's ram its a 06 QC he freakin gets 15mpg and he says around 19mpg on the highway.
