Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
2002 Ram 1500Qd 4x4 4.7 on 20's w/ 275/65/r20 10 plys @ 80psi flow master muffler is only mod. 90% city miles, drove moderately. Overhead display reads 10.5 per gallon YEAH!! traffic light time may reflect. I recently drove it about 150 miles throught the curvy hilly ozark mountains and managed to avg. 10.7. Even on the flat highway it seems to suck gas like a big block 3/4 ton. I thought all these wires and sensers under the hood combined with a complicated fuel sysytem was to conserve fuel AND create power. Sorry Dodge, I'm not impressed with either. Too bad the Hemi wasn't available when I bought my truck, at least I would have a little more power. Hey Dodge....save the 4.7 for your smaller lighter vehicles thank you.
