Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
Truck is 3 weeks old now, clocked about 1200 miles on the odo so far. Been getting about 16 mpg (hand calculated) on each tankful, mixed driving, A/C in use more than 60% of the time.
On the freeway with no traffic or light traffic and a/c off, been achieving 18-21mpg (computer) ontrips withno net elevation gain or loss. Best results were when traffic restricted me to under70 mph. With A/C on, 17-18mpg. Tooling around town or shuttling between buildings at work with each start/stop less than 5 miles, we get 7-12mpg, depending on whether or not I feel like hammering it andwhether or notthe A/C is on.
Two years ago I rented an '05 QC SLT Hemi with 17" rims for a week, could not get better than 16 mpg on the freeway. Averaged 13 mpg on one tankful, no A/C use. I guess MDS does seem have a positive effect on fuel efficiency, at least in my case.

Update: Went back over the Rockies again a couple of times. 15,000 KMs on it now... Trip 1: 21 MPG both ways, with myself ,three kids and the box full of junk. Trip 2: 19 MPG Both ways, alone, nothing in the box.... Driving a little faster and passing quite a bit more. Either way the MPG seeems to have climbed since I hit 10,000 KMS.
I just checked mine. My 05 quad, 4x4, hemi is getting 15.8. The onboard computer shows 16.5 most of the time. It has dual exhaust and that's it as far as mods. I have had the truck 4 weeks, so I was still hot roding it a little on that tank.
05's do not have MDS, right?

My 2006 Ram 1500 Bighorn 4x4w/ MDS get about20-21 mpg over all (75% Highway driving).I now bhave about 16K now and have just added dual exhaust, Flowmaster Delta Flow 50series (3" in, 2.25" out) and a drop in K&N air fileter.
