I guess you could leave it in the truck but if you are like me and have remote start then you would want to have it on you so when you do remotely start it you could open and close them to play with them. Its a nice selling touch but not one I would pratically use.

damn, looks good to me. Might have to get one. I can see how these guys cut the cost out of it and are able to sell it cheaper, and it's not anything bad.

hey bwhite757, since you are already in contact with them, would you mind sending them an email asking if they make a 2.5 inch cutout?

The only real issue I can see with that cutout is if/when the valve either burns out or it starts slipping. Seeing how everything is welded together if something goes bad and you have to send it in to get it fixed, or buy a new one you'll have to take that whole piece off. So if it was welded in place, that means cutting it off and having to patch your exhaust til it gets fixed or you buy a new one.

With the ones like DMH has, if the valve goes its an easy 3 bolts and its off and you got a plate to cover the hole til you get a new one. Also being able to take the valve off to clean it up, make some tweaks to it opens/closes correctly is also a very good thing as well.

I will admitt though to be able to remotely open and close it would be very very slick.

I have to say that I can not wait to see this thing in action and hear your first hand review. If it works and is made well it could be a good, less expensive alternative to the DMH.
