yeah you might have some problems with 8000k because they are blue. in my opinion 6000k is bright and rich looking color. the more blue the more it looks like a tuner car to me.

i will soon be ordering a set of heads and fogs from hidextra. seems like a good deal, and always hear great stuff about them.

Install was very easy, and they work great! Can't beat it at $60.

Got mine installed but the high beams are regular lighting? Anyone know anything

HID kits come in two variants, xenon and bixenon

Xenon is HID lo/halogen high. These are normally bought by persons who have visual inspections in the city/state and cannot pass with HIDs so they use the high beam halogen to pass

Bixenon is HID lo/hi so both are HID

Sounds like you bought the first kit described
