I don't know if it was just me but this was a pita to do. Those headlights are sealed pretty tight. My driver side fogs up even though I've sealed it 3 times. Probably going to reseal it again.

Rocket23 you can buy fiberglass eyelids off ebay.

 

yea I put this on here for the mods to put in the DIY...And Got Hemi, do you have HIDs? mine have fogged up probably three times since I did them, and they were due to the HID bulb o-ring/rubber washer

Good write up! I almost did the same thing, but went ahead and painted my eyelids. That is one of my more favorite mods thus far.

 

I love my eyelids, My headlights are definitely the best feature on my truck thus far, I need to update my pics on here and show a few of my other changes done

 

So what kind a paint did you use is there diy on it or did you wing it??

They were asking about it so much I had to go to the work of posting it here. I took mine open again to fix a reflector (it keeps falling off?) and have done a few other peoples ( two for money!)

 

Damn that's the first I hear of the reflector falling out. I want to get a new set and redo my headlights since mine were the guinea pigs. I haven't done any in awhile, though I've had people wanna send me their lights from as far as CA and FL. Just don't wanna fool with the shipping hassle.

 

those white/amber turn signal bulbs still working alright? And yea, I know. You should be able to find a pair, maybe trade a blue guy for yours
