Default Small Mods...

Was bored so I added some small things:
1. Added 120v outlet in front plastic
2. Added 12v cig outlet under dash for GPS (no more cord draping across the cupholders)
3. Added Polyfill in dash for sound deadening
4. Removed the restrictive "lip" on the inside of my CAI

Lots of pics if you are bored and want to check it out:

If you click on "slideshow" they will be bigger pics

Nice job with everything... BUT....With the pollyfill... my biggest concern there is pollyfill is highly flamable and if there is any spark from any hot/live wire either a connection you did or a bad connection somewhere in the dash and it sparks you may be coming out to a black truck....

I took the idea about the polyfil from my buddy who has an F-350 Powerstroke. It works pretty good, not like night and day or anything, but it defenitly deadens the motor noise. Most noticeable when MDS kicks in....before I could hear the change in the motor when it kicked in, and now it is really muffled.

The ployfill actually won't burn, it just melts. I tested it with a lighter, and could not get it to "flame" at all, it just melted and shribbled up.

Thanks for the comments

Oh yeah the pic of the bigger 400w power inverter was just to show that if you wanted to use a bigger one you could. I went with the 100w for now, If I go with the 400w later I will have to wire in a switch to shut it off, since it has a fan and peobably wouln't want to leave it on all the time.

I used 2 bags of the polyfil from Wally World, and picked up one more today to fill in some more gaps. If you do it, make sure to leave air space behind the radio and amp if you have the factory amp like me. dont want it to overheat!
