Default True dual exhaust....sounds horrible

So I removed my flowmasters and did a true dual straight pipe instead(kept the cats). It sounds wicked at startup and light throttle but if I get on it there is a horrible popping sound. Not a one loud bang but constant popping. Im thinking its from uneven exhaust pulses, maybe a x pipe could help? Any exhaust pro's wanna chime in? No vids sorry guys Ill get some up tomorrow and add it to this thread. Thanks in advance!

for best flow and sound i'd do a X pipe or at least an H pipe because it will help equalize back pressure. Couple of small high flow mufflers would help you out too. On my camaro i have TDs with long tube headers, no cats, X pipe, and two round hight flow mufflers. Sounds awesome

Throw at least an x pipe in there to even the sound out a bit

Put some magnaflow race style mufflers on it. The pretty much look like bullets. This will act as a resonator. Still loud as hell but crisp and toned. Oh yeah and do this in addition to a high flow X pipe.

I agree with adding some type of muffler on there to stop it from popping. I am running two 4" round Magnaflows
