Installed my new leather seats.
Well done!
I went a different route. I bought a seat and steering wheel from eBay that was a take off from a new truck (at the time).
Using a steam gun makes the job easier and looks sharpe.
Again great job,

Again great job,
A few weeks ago I had a thread asking about installing Katzkins yourself. After deciding to give it a shot, I was all ready to order the Katzins when I found an auction on ebay from leatherseats.com with almost the exact options I was looking for, and $200 cheaper, so I went with them. Here are some before and after pics.
WoW, that looks great!
So is this install possible for a guy that has absolutely no experience with upholstery? Any special tools required?
My drivers seat is ripped bad and has a few burn holes in it (all from PO)and the upholstery shop wants nearly $400 to fix it. I would much rather spend another couple hundred (as long as I can do the install myself) and get a full set of leather seats... seems much more logical, especially for how sh!tty the factory fabric is.

You can definately do this. It's even easier if you have a buddy to help out. We put castkinz on my friends truck and it was pretty straight forward. There are tons of great videos on youtube for this.
Did you make them?? Because it's gonna take a lot longer to do if you're laughing so hard you can't see straight..
