A few weeks ago I had a thread asking about installing Katzkins yourself. After deciding to give it a shot, I was all ready to order the Katzins when I found an auction on ebay from leatherseats.com with almost the exact options I was looking for, and $200 cheaper, so I went with them. Here are some before and after pics.

My local Katzkin installer wanted $1200 to do a single color install. The site I was looking at, I could order it myself for around $670. So I figured for $500+ I'd give it a shot.

I started to take some step by step pictures, but soon found out it was going to take every bit of patience I had to do the install, let alone documenting each step along the way.

Thanks for all the compliments, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, except for the console, it was a huge pain.

I found some Katzkin leathers on eBay for $645 for my Mega Cab the other day, Only problem is they're only 1 color. I like the 2 tone you got, was the seller id "shopsar"?? Yours look amazing btw, they recommend a professional install but it looks like you nailed it.

No, their ebay name is Leatherseats.com. I paid $649 for mine, which I thought was pretty good, because the 2 tone and emblems would normally cost extra. Here's an auction for a set like mine.
