shorties
I did the gibson shorties on my 4.7 takes about an hour and a half with a beer here and there and its very straight forward..
Drivers side is a little harder with the steering column in the way but its do-able. Everything bolts up no welding.
And yes pre lube em for a bit dont wanna snap a bolt then its a world of problems
I went with stainless and I love mine !
Good luck and let us know how you like yours!

I'm fixin' to throw Gibson shorties on mine, the first of many external performance mods on my list. As far as the studs and gaskets go, what type of prep work needs to be done? (i.e. lubes, etc). I am mechanically inclined, but I am deployed with the military for a bit, so I can't just jump under the hood to check it out. I'm also not sure whether there are studs or bolts on these 3rd gens. Any general info would help me figure out a plan of action when I return home. Anyone have a picture of these things so I can get a good idea of what to expect?
