whats up guys. im new to the forum and have been having mixed emotions on what to do. Im either getting a leveling kit, or a 3 inch body lift. but what i cant decide on is going with black rims and and black tool box or chrome rims and chrome tool box. so let me know what you guys think...any input would be great

 

Go with the 3" lift with black rims and black box...only if you plan on changing the color of grill and bumper. If you are for sure going with different rims maybe have your stock ones painted black, unless you are going to sell them. But at least that way you'd have an idea.

 

^^^^^I agree. Don't believe I have seen that many, if any guys on here w/ ure color truck and black rims and accents. I say go w/ it. Lift or level depends on the look ure going for..? Either way you go it'll look good!

 

Sorry but im not a fan of black rims. Go Chrome. Im probly the only one who will vote that way.

 

yeah i have been searchin the forum for pics of trucks that are the same color as mine with chrome or black rims and there are like 3 trucks on here thats the same color so i figured id just ask. but thanks for the input. any suggestions on which rims to put on?

Seriously though, dark blue is one of the colors that looks good either way. But IMO you need to do one or the other. If you are gonna keep the chrome wheels, then it's chrome/stainless/diamond plate.

If you are gonna go black, then do the wheels too...

Ha Ha, no bwhit, I was talking about audiobeast's comment about him being the only one to vote for chrome, I'm kinda known for liking stainless steel and diamond plate...

 

There arent many trucks that black wheels don't look good on IMO. It just depends if you wanna go for more of an off road "tough" truck or more of a street truck look. If you want the off road look with the lift etc black IMO would look best. Look at some moto metal 957 and 951, the XD series (xd 707)

 

You know a lot of people say that jake, but in my neck of the woods it's the opposite. It's all the lowered guys who black their trucks out and the off-road, hog huntin' rednecks go for the stainless and diamond plate... LOL
