Default Plastic parts fading...no more!

I have been moaning about my plastic parts fading and was debating whether or not to pull everything off the truck and paint everything because it just looked terrible. My truck is a 2008 and the handles, bumper trim, wiper cowl and mirrors were all very very faded for being a fairly new truck. I haven't sprayed anything on the plastic trim ever. My old truck i used to put armorall on all the faded parts but you must reapply everytime you wash/clean your ride and the stuff would get all over the paint and make a smeared mess alongside the handles or trim. I also had my nephew wax my truck and he got wax ALL OVER the trim and there is practically nothing that gets that stuff out once the sun bakes it on.
So, I was at Advance Auto and decided to pick up some Meguirs dash&trim restorer to see how it worked. With just one application the difference was astonishing. I ended up applying 2 coats and so far the truck has endured 5 days of brutal sun(above 90*) and went through the wash once the results...

Here is only one application on the back trim piece

I know this pic is kinda blurry, but even through the blurr, you can still see how faded the back handle is compared to the front which recieved one application.

This stuff is super tough, removes burned on wax, restores dull plastic trim and actualy LASTS!!! I think I paid $10 for the tube and I'm guessing it's going to be a once a month application versus the every wash application of other stuff. This means less mess on my paint and time saved spending each wash applying the stuff.
Truck looks so much better.

i was just thinking about krylon fusion, lol. my roughly abused 02 was a victim of the southern sun as well. I got bored one day and pulled my grill off and all the plactic on the front of my truck. I used 3 light coats of fusion and they look brand new, 5 months later, no chips or peals. still looks like it did the day i painted it
